How to choose the best monoblock for your cold room

We are introducing a new range of premium monoblock refrigeration units for cold rooms: the WRA range. We would therefore like to use this opportunity to give you some general pointers on what to consider before choosing a monoblock for your cold room or freezer room. 

Size of the room
This might be obvious, but it plays a big difference which size of room you are trying to cool down. There is no need to choose a powerful monoblock if your cold room is only 5m³, as this would entail unnessecary energy use and cost. On the other hand, if you have 250m³ to keep cool, you might want to look out for powerful monoblocks where serial connection is possible. 

Ambient temperature
Where will your cold room be placed? All of our monoblock units are for indoor use only, but performance will differ depending on where you place the cold room, for instance in a chilled warehouse or in connection to a warm kitchen. 

Setpoint temperature
Which temperature does your stock require? We offer both monoblock cooling units and monoblock freezing units to suit your needs. The performance of the unit will depend on which setpoint temperature you choose, so you might have several models to choose from depending on whether you need e.g. 2°C or 10°C in your room.
